YOUR INFORMATION
Privacy
Last updated: October 2026. This site is operated for the independent film project The Weight of Gold, by Philip Drammeh.
What we collect
If you join the film-updates list, we collect the email address you provide and, optionally, your name. If you send an inquiry, we collect the details and message you submit. We use this information solely to manage your requests and communicate about the film, its progress and a potential crowdfunding campaign.
How submissions are handled
Our website uses Netlify for hosting and form collection. Submissions are processed and stored by Netlify. We may later use an email delivery service to send updates to those who opted in; if so, email addresses will be transferred for that purpose only. We do not sell contact information.
Video and external services
The trailer plays through YouTube only after you choose to activate the video player. YouTube may collect data when you play it. The website also requests fonts from Google Fonts. Those services have their own privacy practices.
Removal and contact
You may ask to stop receiving updates or to remove your submitted contact details at any time. Use the Press & inquiries contact form in the footer of the main site and tell us what you would like us to do. We will handle requests as soon as reasonably possible.
Updates to this notice
We may revise this notice as the project and its services evolve. Any updated version will appear on this page.
